Services

Investigative/Forensic Engineering

There are many things that happen where the services of an Engineer could be useful. One example is fire. For instance every 15 seconds a fire occurs in the United States, often with injury. Over 10% are of suspicious nature. Though the local Fire Investigator may determine cause and do a partial evaluation, often more detail is necessary to assess responsibility where cost of loss are to be paid by an insurer. This is one example where engineering expertise is well worth the expense. GAR Engineering is that point of contact.

Other Areas where assessment is useful:

  • Mediation of trades and Professionals
  • Design Specification and plan design review
  • Soil/ foundation and moisture level analysis
  • Structural analysis including deterioration and collapses
